KAYAK RENTALS

Opens Saturday, May 28, 2022

Hours: 

• ​Saturdays and Sundays: 
• 9:00 am - 2:00 pm 
• The last rental goes out at 2:00 pm and must be returned by 3:00 pm.​

Location:

• Park Address: 705 Cedar St, Smithfield, Va, 23430
• The Kayak Rentals are located in Kayak Parking which is marked J on the park map.
• The Kayak Launch is marked K on the park map and is located adjacent to Kayak Parking.

Pricing: 

• Singles: $15 per hour
• Tandems $25 per hour

Rentals Include:

• Life Jacket, Paddle(s), Kayak/Paddleboard
• Our smallest life jacket is child (30-50 lbs)

Weight Limits:

• Paddleboards - 250 lbs.
• Single Kayaks - 250 lbs.
• Tandem Kayaks - 500 lbs.

Kayak Types:

• We carry both sit in and sit on top kayaks.
• We do not reserve specific kayak types but you can make a request when you arrive. 

Reservations:

• Reservations are not required but are highly recommended. 
• We accept reservations up to 1 hour before arrival time. 
• If you would like to make changes to your reservation you can do so by following the link located in your confirmation email. 
• We do not accept payment until you arrive for your rental and we only accept credit or debit cards. 

Weekday Rentals:

• If you would like to request a weekday rental you can email us at windsorcastlekayaks@yahoo.com with at least 24 hours notice. 
• Weekday rentals have a 2 person / 2 hour minimum and are subject to staff availability.
